Gene Growing up, I was fortunate to have a grandfather and father who were accomplished woodworkers. I spent many hours watching and helping them and eventually developed my own talents. I spent most of my adult life in an allied health field, but always kept my woodworking alive as a hobby. Now I have reached that stage of life when I can dedicate my full attention to my woodwork and with the emergence of Creekview Studio, I will have a fantastic space in which to work and create. Please check out my gallery. Gene |

Anne When I was a little girl, I spent most Saturday mornings at the Brooklyn Museum, working on a kick wheel. In high school, I again took ceramics classes, focusing on sculpture. One of those creations, a black and green sea monster, still sits in my living room, scaring children. I took a two decade detour from ceramics, into the healing arts. Recently, life gave me an opportunity to revert to this previous interest; as the saying goes: “When one door closes, another opens.” I find myself again dabbling in clay, creating both functional and purely sculptural works. While I enjoy all aspects of my work, I especially enjoy the chemistry and alchemy involved in the glaze process. Even more, I enjoy observing peoples reactions to what I have created. So, please peruse my gallery at your leisure, and let me know what you think. Anne |
